Hello everybody,
I've made a simple patch using a midi step sequencer with some random cc messages, and I'm using it with external synths.
I would like to know any way to record this on perfect sync to use later on cubase or any other daw. I'm recording some long tracks (about 3 or 4 minutes) and I can record them, but I would like to have the begin of the sample when I press record in sync, for instance the first step of the step sequencer.
I've tried to use the vst version in cubase, but I can't do work the patch. Maybe the problem is not there because I've formatted my computer days ago and could be that the configuration is not ready at all.
Any help would apreciated, thanks in advance,
uge
Best way to record in perfect sync?
The simpliest way is to use the quantize option on your record button. See here:

It depends on your patch...

Thanks a lot for reply,
I have no problem to move the post, sorry if it is in wrong place.
Just I'm wondering about if could I use on any way the main rec button on any patch, I've been looking for the record option on the global remote but I cant find it, I could upload a screenshot, no problem too.
Thanks again,

Ok, I've found my way,
With Auto restart pressed, just Usine Off -> Press Record -> Usine On and everything is in time. (It's quite simple I know it, but I didnt think about this!!)
It is enough for my needs.
Thanks a lot again,
cheers
