For the purposes of backup and maybe printing. Saving and maybe loading.
I'm thinking about something like the text versions of electrical circuits diagrams.
Maybe useful when looking for connection errors, all without the need to open Usine, and even been able to analize it on paper!.
I know it sounds like a regression (kind of steampunk Usine) but...
What do you think?
saving patch modules connections diagram to a text file?
This diagram can be very complex in the general case, so I don't know?

Very complex indeed. Maybe more useful could be a module table with all the connection listed.
for example (an snapshot of matrix mixer example), for the module patch 1 (see image below)

the connection list could look like this:

could it maybe be as useful as a datasheet?

Yes I imagine it can be useful is some situations, but I need time for that.

Perfect!!
The module list could be useful in the future, for example, when porting addons modules from older to radical new versions of Usine, while keeping the "datasheet of the module" with almost no change at all.
