Just to tell you that I've uploaded this patch.

You can show two examples here :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcG0l2md5Ys

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOXhtqtRIYY

Easy to use patch to catch the sound off a mono audio sound (designed for my bass clarinet) and loop this identical sound for awhile.

Based on two sampler modules, but with important stuff to assure a constant volume and to manage start and stop situations.

Two modes :

* Normal mode : fades : between the audio thru -> sampler 1 -> sampler 2 -> audio thru

* Maintening audio thru level mode : the loop between sampler 1 and 2 is just added on the audio thru signal

Work's well on complex sounds, could give some unusual results on simple sound, since there is no phase synchronisation checking.

(first add-on, suggestions are welcome...)

Now you can play polyphonic music with monophonic instruments...

Thank's Nay..

Recording sound + video was much much much difficult than playing, I spent more than one day long to produce a video with correct sound and correct video.
I used camstudio, a sampler in usine to produce the wav file (I don't understand why, but files directly generated thru the usine global recorder have a bad lenght information, as if there weren't closed. Maybe I'm wrong with these files ?
virtualdub to convert from camstudio to microsoft MP4 V1, only codec I succesfull used to import in camstudio, with lot of random crash !! And I import the correct wav file and bounce the definitive file...

How are you producing you're Usine demo video, Nay ? Have you a simplest way to do that ?

i know what you feel and i've spend hours for some of them too
but i don't often capture the screen ( when i do i use fastone capture , cool tool and low price :[url=http://www.faststone.org/FSCaptureDetail.htm]FastStone Capture[/url

i don't have problem with the recorder , here i suppose you stress your computer , webcam capture+screeen recorder+wav record in the same time, so i suppose it's not Usine wavefile who is out of time but maybe screen capture..?
so maybe if you can record the audio with an other computer or an external hardware recorder..?

for my part the main problem I've is the video quality , as i record with an old 5m pixel camera , i suppose i have to buy an hd cam recorder in place..

if anyone read this , have one and can tell if it's good enough to record a tactile screen i would be interested to know..

thanks for the comments. Nay, I'll have a look at your method for video capture. If anyone else has other proposals, don't hesitate to mention.
I've to travel to Marseille now :) see you Tuesday next week !

EDIT version 1.1 :

New Manual Loop Length mode to manually specify the end of the recorded sample as requested by Plaf in AF. Done by replacing count millisecond timer with a custom one.

Super Addon
really nice to build smooth drone with wind instrument.

Just a silly question.
this patch work well if I hit the button "keeping start" with my mouse.

But if I do a midi learn (or keylearn) the button "keeping start" light once,
but the blue "rec" button doesn't start.

Do you think is it something specific to my setup ?
or is it a special midi learn ?
Thx

ps : I already try absolute, toogle, momentary, ... mode

I just add a "midi in" module to this patch,
everything works fine now

Thanks, I use this patch in a same way.
Actually if you want to pilot this patch with one pedal for example, you have to add some more stuff, like a switch with 0to1 and 1to0 detection for start and stop for example.

I haven't modified this patch for a while, may be there would be stuff to optimize...
