Question about the VST version

Hi to all. First post here, and definitely a potential user, if i can work this out.
I would like to know, is the VST version of Usine usable on a computer that doesn't have the standalone version installed?
I'm interested in using the VST plugin version to give me some modular options in my main DAW, but sadly i couldn't even get it up and running because of the crashes at startup.
At first it was crashing because of a plugin's samplerate (reverberate), and was also saying something about a waterfall?
So i removed reverberate, and it just continued to crash during plugin scan.
From what i remember, it seemed to be stable at first, before i specified my vst folder, and i even remember loading some vsts into it before it started crashing.
Normally i would just uninstall and move on, but with your app, i was amazed at how efficient and smooth it was. I own energyxt, and that's really buggy, and just inserting the vst version uses 5-10% cpu, but loading usine, i only saw the cpu go up 1%, or something silly. Really impressed. So for that reason, i would like to get this problem fixed.
I looked in the bug report forum, and i noticed he wants us run the standalone app, so that's why i thought i should post in here first.
thanks.

Thanks. And yeah, sure thing:
Vista home premium 32 bit
Intel core duo 2.66
2gb memory
Onboard realtek soundcard, using asio4all drivers. No firewire or anything like that, and no midi controllers.
FL Studio 9.1 (stable version, not the current beta)
Sonar 8.5 (Usine doesn't even show up in sonar. Not my main. Just gave it a quick test).
Hope that helps. Btw, it was the free version, not the pro version, though i'm likely to move to the pro if all goes well.

Yep, looks like it's just one plugin causing the problems. Reverberate.
I know it's up to the plugin makers to make sure they are compatable with various hosts, but reverberate only has problems with usine, so i'll give you a few of the error messages, in case it helps somehow.
Chorus tried to free unallocated delay line memory holder: seen during destructor.
no SPlib dll feature was found in the waterfall procedure.
Resample init error.
The problem for me is that if i remove reverberate and let usine finish it's scan, it still rescans after i put the dll back in, so is there any way of disabling usine's scan, or even stopping it from scanning reverberate?
That reverb is my main workhorse reverb and usine would be extremely useful to me, so i would hate to have to choose either one or the other!
Thanks for testing anyway. I'm hoping there's a workaround to this, but i understand if it's not possible.

the bug
will be fixed in the next release (5.25e). Normally it should solve your problems.
ps: try to report bugs by mail contact@sensomusic.com it's easier for me.

Good news, thanks.
And i'll email from now on then. I just wasn't sure if you needed the standalone crashlog for bugfixing.
