Hystory :
The problem has beginning with my hold soundcard (TC Electronics 24D w. Usine )
I have buy a new soundcard RME Fireface UC, normally it is a great soundcard.
I have try more samples , to 256 buffers.

hello,
here some points to check:
when the problems begins, have you made any others changes, like graphic changes, install a new hardware or software..?
have you the same problems with an other software ( using asio drivers)
did the crackles stop if you set the buffer size to 512 ..?
if you test several different values in your global setup, have you try to re-install a fresh version of Usine..?

edit: croospost with nay ;)

maybe perform a check with some DPC latency checking tool like this one from Tc:
http://www.tcelectronic.com/files/forum ... ol_103.zip

if notice spikes
run the task manager and kill all unecessary pgms, you might spot one that gives better results if not running.
I had spikes with the konnekt24D running bootcamp, and i found it was caused by apple keyboard manager using
this technique. when i killed the pgm, no more spikes.

can try to disable wifi, bluetooh or any potential internet activity, kill all unnecessary running services or background pgms.
(for disabling services or start loaded pgms can run msconfig.exe in run execute.), or maybe performs a fresh clean Os
format/reinstall to be sure.

Also if running XP2 and FW interface, Microsoft provided a patch cause SP2 messed FW in somes cases.
it's patch named KB88522. here is a link, (but in french version)
http://www.touslesdrivers.com/index.php ... 9&v_page=3

If running laptop check if also occuring when swiching battery scheme to "always active".
also can give a try at Asio4all, a friend of mine got crakling with tc natives drivers too but not with Asio4all.
good luck.
