With the new possibilities for handling strings, would it be possible to have a Number2String module of some kind? Instead of more or less cryptic format strings, I guess something like the "prec" parameter on the fader would be better.

Yes, yes, good suggestion.
I'll implement a basic string as you describe, but probably as a script(?)
I only need to create a script format function, easier than floatToStr for that purpose.
