I have been using user curves for little time but I just can't understand how to 'feed' a user curve by using a points curve, for example. That would be really useful for me. :)

Following there's an explanation of my idea:

User curves modules can only be used in the sequencer, but are really useful if you want to , for example , automating the volume of a FX along the duration of a song and then correcting it when necessary.

That can be done by creating an empty patch into the corresponding sequencer track, then dropping an user curve there, and finally connecting a send_bus to its data out.

Next you must create a volume control into the corresponding track in the Usine grid interface. The volume knob is feeded by the corresponding get_bus.

[large]I believe if one could feed the values of an user curve with a curve of points it could be possible to create sequencer curves from the grid interface itself rather than constantly having to open the sequencer. Could it be possible?![/large]

Is there any other way to do this?
Thanks in advance! :)

you forget the mixer track output module..?
put this directly in a patch , save it , insert in the sequencer and no more buses... ;-)

Oh that's pretty great!
I´ll try tomorrow and tell, thanks!

Btw, how can I feed the user_curve inlets: curve and data_in ? I just don't understand. :|

you can add a fader for example, create a midi learn on it for the data in
add a switch to the rec inlet and a combo box to the curve inlet
now record the curve you want..?

It seems to be a good way to record some automation too.
Is it ?

But how can i define a marker on the begening of the record and an other one when the curve record stop ? And how make a loop in the sequencer between this two marker when the curve record stop ?

Thanks

not sure there's an easy solution , you have the markers module but no insert function...
