For once I can answer before Seven Nay!
But after Senso 
To do this 2 Solutions:
1°) If your audio interface is an RME, the Digicheck utility is perfect for that. You can record everything that comes out of your sound card and save the file in mono or interlaced files

2°) With Bidule VST (http://www.plogue.com/?page_id=274) in Usine you can do the same things.

3) Jean-Marc Duchenne plugins multi rec 6, 16, 24 channels, but record output has a strange format.

4) We can create it on Usine from mono or multichannel sampler modules, but anyway easy to do from record panel, if this is not hard to add that option
