buzzzzzzzzz
hi !
i'm trying to understand a little problem ...
when you turn the system "off" (with the space bar) while a sound is running, you have a sound (that i called a "buz" in the subject - i believe this is the note F) wich is played. I'm sure that anybody can see what i mean.
the same thing happen sometimes when i turn to the minimum value a fader connected to a "volume audio" module or when I press a "mute" button. I have to stop the sample whith the "pause" button" before turning the fader to minimum.
i think it doesn't happen everytime, ... i can't understand. it's quite embarassing to have a "biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip" instead of a silence...
has anybody already been confronted to this problem ?
thanks

Is it like when you stop Usine, a little tiny snippet of the last sound that was playing is looping really fast making an annoying loud squeal? If so, I've had a similar problem that has come and gone between updates. I think the cause of what I experienced is addressed by playing with the ASIO settings. I use ASIO4All and when you update, you edit these settings. Try playing around with the buffers and latency and see if maybe it goes away.

I have the same problem almost all the time. I am using Usine to process external audio, RME Multiface II audio card..
in my workspace, the problems occures only on my second out (i have a motu ultralite mk3 hybrid, with 10 outs), wich go to afilter wich return in my interface. i think this creat a latence, ... (thanks CCQ)
it's really curious, but i found that the problems disappeared by truning of the "smooth" function on my volume audio module. (without changing my global setup)
i did'nt want to desactivate this function, so i looked for other solutions.
i finally changed, in the global setup, the "refresh speed" and the sound disappeared.... (i changed also the number of samples, to be sure)
thanks for your help,
Joss

I sometimes get the same problem too, it sounds like the last bloc of sound doesn't get cleared and keeps playing. It has seemed to come and go for as long as I have been using Usine. Some versions were worse than others but I never managed to find a way of reliably reproducing it.
I don't know if there is a link, but I've mainly similar comportment as soon as disable the last active track with audio out in patches.
I'm back...
