I downloaded and ran Usine free stand alone and I can't get midi out from the software to my midi keyboard. Is that one of the limitations of the free version? I'm new and apologize in advance.

I am connected to a midisport 2x2 to a Korg Triton keyboard and the monitor lights on the midisport 2x2 will indicate midi output activity and the keyboard does not play. The audio is working and I hear the music from my sound card but not my keyboard.

I really like your software and plan on using it with my Yamaha WX-5 Wind Controller in a live setting. I also currently have a BCR2000 programmed to provide me with key changes, instrument changes, volume etc. I am interested in using your programs to input sysex messeges to the BCR2000 OR can I replace the BCR2000 to lighten my live performance gear with your software on a laptop to control my Yamaha VL70M and Roland XV-2020?

ok for the midisport, but what i need to know is the patch you use to send midi ?
in the global setup/midi out activate the trace out to see what kind of message you send in the console.

can't really answer you about the BCR, depends of your needs, yes if you don't need hardware knobs ?
for example, you can automate or sequence your midi message , this way no need of BCR

I guess that is my problem.... I was trying to use your program to send midi using midi in as midisport in A and midi out as midisport out A. Do I have to connect a patch first or can I direct the bass, groove, etc. using the mid button on each module?

yes, but will be difficult in the free version, cause you can't patch, if you try the pro demo version you can replace the sampler module in the bassliner patch with a midi out module, this way midi notes will be sent to your hardware
