Hello,

I have 8 audio sources connected to my sound card, feeding 8 Usine in, then going through 8 Usine audio tracks, then 8 usine audio out to my sound card out.

Mobius is configured with 4 audio tracks pin in and 4 pin out.

I'd like to insert any audio source to any Mobius track (like using the aux of a mixing desk) : any track can go to any mobius in, then back to the track.

For now, I've tried creating a dedicated track for Mobius, then buses in / out for each track ; in mobius track , the corresponding buses in/out with a collection of selectors / dispatchers to change assignations (Usine poly).
It would work fine, my wiring is correct, except... it's messing Usine audio out management : sometimes I can see the Mobius audio signals going back to the tracks "bus return", but it's not send to audio out. Sometimes it's sent to audio out (the track vu meter out works), but the signal is not send to my sound card.

Perhaps to many buses are messing Usine ?
I don't mind starting a new workspace if it's the best option, but then I'll need your brains :)

Thanks

I don't know how you patch this, but have you think to the audio matrix module + additional outputs way..?

Hi Nay,
The audio matrix looks nice, but it's "just" a mixer, that's it ?
I'm looking for a simple way to put insert points in each audio track. It seems that using 32 buses modules (8 out to 8 in and 8 in to 8 out) is not the best option considering the audio troubles I encounter...
I've already noticed Usine doesn't like us to play with its audio out. For example I wanted to use the same audio in / out on 2 tracks ( the same microphone for 2 instruments) but it produced weird buzzes. Hopefully, at last I realised this configuration was useless (some relicts of my hardware approach ;) )

Great question. I'm in the process of setting up a Mobius patch myself.

For now I'm sending all mobius out to an additional stereo "sampler" audio out, instead of returning the signal to each track. It works fine and it's ok to rehearse, but it won't be efficient for the sound engineer on stage...
I hope Hollyhock will fix the issue.

I've just opened your workspace percuson... never too late :D
It gives me ideas. I really need to learn the use of matrix and arrays...
