i want to make a midi controller
a fader going into the midi create module and then to the midi output
seems to be the way to go.

but in between the fader and the midi create module there is some math missing i suppose.

so far i have the fader sending a controller value of zero. everything in between is missing

maybe someone can help me out

cheers

This is what I use (its really handy for mapping certain CC messages to synths):

The "has Chg" chain ensures that the message is sent if I not only alter the fader but also CC number. The "Create midi" module's msg type selector is set to "control change", of course.

Hi, this may be ot, but I've done this http://www.sensomusic.org/wiki/doku.php ... k_midi_out and nothing happens.

I also want to use usine as a midi controller on my tablet. But it seems I never get midi out... It's a venue 8 pro, and my midi out port is touchosc bridge. i tried rtpmidi first, and i think that one worked for a few minutes.

How does this work with VST plugins?
Eg I want to create a custom multi touch interfaces for certain VSTs.

Ive fiddled and searched but cant find out create an interface that updates if the actual VST GUI is updated.
I.e. I understand a has changed module is needed but dont know how to wire it in.

Thanks

For VST, you don't need to use a create Midi module, you move the parameter on the VST to create the inlet, then you can link directly a knob to the VST parameter and add a pass if change module for feedback .
here an example:
