Automation in the grid

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to have different automation curves for different lines on the grid. This way I can do fade in and fade outs on the first and last lines but have the ability to infinitely loop the middle lines. Is there a way to do this?

here an example on 3 lines:
fade in, then loop ( with on/off), then fade out

Ok thanks that helped a lot. I also appreciate your quick responses. I was not putting the rack into different instances on each line in the grid. I had it set up so that the rack took up multiple lines. That should have been a no brainer.

Hey graphite412, have the fade in/out functions worked well for you? When I use them (on mac, have to try on win) things get really horribly distorted. I had to stay at 1.02.011f for that and other reasons.
