Grid Automation Synchronization

I'm having issues synchronizing the automation of my racks so that it changes with the lines on the grid. It will work fine if I was to play the song all the way though, but if I decide to change from one line to the next line, half way though the duration of the first line, it will still use the automation from the first line. This makes it hard to jump back and forth between lines on the grid at random while doing a live performance. How do I go about synchronizing the automation?

I have different grid elements of the rack on each line. So if I have three lines, I have three different grid elements for the same rack. This way I can have the different automation options. It also seems to work properly on the second column's grid element when switching lines back and forth between lines. Maybe I should make a video if the explanation doesn't help?

I also have the automation set to all line duration on all of the different grid element's automation.

It seems as if it gets messed up when I restart a line by hitting the back button or clicking on the line that is playing to restart it.
