Hi, now that we have so many possible ways of configuring the interface and where to put the various interface modules, would it be an idea to have an edit window per patch where all the interface elements are listed with location (patch, sub-patch), type, name, caption and the visible parameter?
With a lot of modules within the same patch, it can get a bit messy finding all the right modules and put them where they belong. Only the visible parameter needs to be editable.
(This idea could also be expanded to include parameters as colour and symbol and making all of them - except location and type, of course -editable...)
Just a thought...
what do you think about a 'locate in the patch' menu with right click?

That sounds like a good idea too, but I would much prefer to have a list of modules since I think that could speed things up more with less mousing around when designing the interfaces.
Of course I wouldn't mind both...

I think Bjørn is right since we have the same difficulty in Reaktor. "Locate in patch is not enough". I also was thinking about a feature that works like Edit/Find - Find Next...
But it does not seem so easy to implement...
