I was told on the first day of using USINE (by Senso or Nay Seven I think. I can't remember who) that the reason for one of the examples cutting off my audio was because of a dated computer. Yet my UCX and previous efforts had been ok, or so I thought...... and I just assumed I'd owned this PC for far less than the 5+ years or so.
Even with my poor pc, I've managed to do more than I thought I could with HH, I'd tried with REAPER, and Reaktor, etc, but made virtually zero progress. But I want to experience stuff to the fullest. Musically, I've recorded little for a while now... but aim to perform a variety of stuff. I'm an long time Tool fan, and also Infected Mushroom. Performance wise, I'm aiming for a semi-random setup. (My current setup....
). To be able to play what was in my head was for the primary goal, but now I want surprise elements to direct me. I always have the options in my head, but knowing not knowing my equipment well was a common hurdle. Another reason for the website.So tomorrow investing in I7s, Touch Screen, dedicated graphics card maybe a GTX 760. Also getting a Leap Motion. And just about to delve into surround.... so one question..... Has anyone used HH full 64 channels? I shall stick with 8 outputs for now.
Oh, just been checking out Senso's performances. Quite out there, in a good way! Extremely soothing, and interesting. What is the black looking gadget you are playing Senso?
Also, any keen Usiners who live in the UK on this forum? And still awaiting my Playstation Eye cameras. Last question.... has anyone else used these cameras with Usine???
