hi guys,

would be nice to have a general randomizer that works on the patch level...

kind of...

you open a list that shows all the parameters present in a patch (VST plugins included)

and then you select wich parameters you wnat to be randomized...with seed options..range options etc..for every parameter :)

lemme know what you think about :)

This option could be funny. Like in Reaktor, or Buzz?
I could add a new field in the parameter of "design modules" witch could do this behaviour.

hi,
just to bump it a little :)

a randomizer window in wich you can choose the parameters in the patch you want to randomize (and in wich min max range of parameter value)

would be nice to have it at the VST shell level without the need to connect sliders to all the (sometimes a lot) vst parameters...this could be a great preset generator

another great ide would be to have a tablet object in wich you can create points that rapresent a patch preset....
sou you could morph between patch presets obtaining great morphing textures

thanx

It's a good suggestion, but an hard job...

yes, something like the XY panel, and move the cursor to make cross fades between presets.

hope you'll find the time to do it in the future :)

exactly..and on the XY panel creating different points rapresenting the presets..
would be nice to include or exclude patch parameters and how much they are influenced from the morph process

Well lalo, you got me thinking and it occured to me that an XY pad that morphs between 4 different sets of parameters is fairly easy to implement in Usine except for one thing: The math needed to calculate the output values.

I'm working on it, but if there's someone out there who knows the correct fomula, I would very much like to have it.

I think lalo needs interpolations between presets (a set of many value).

For the formula.
Too early.
I need a coffee.

I think I've found the formula. I was thinking way too complicated in the beginning. I think I'll post something in Add-ons. During the weekend, maybe.
