grid suggestions

ok, so testing the HH2 and grid window.

what i found so far
- quirky quantisation (bug reported it).
- rack which is in current playing section of grid cannot be disabled - i think that this was possible in older versions in HH

nice to have features
- more options in loop setting, like - previous section, jump to section....

Hey drakh!

Check out the Interface Control -> Usine Panels -> Grid Settings & Grid Section Settings.
I created a Control Panel I place in the header for the Grid that I use for custom options.
You might be able to just trigger the previous and positional to do your section jumps.

What is the Quirky Quantization (I like that saying), that you are talking about?

that quirky quantisation - when clicking to next/previous section buttons, everything works fine, the quantisation is applied as set in the section. but clicking on the section header quantisation does not apply - the section switches immediatly

Yes, I do see some quirkiness when using the section activation quantize and the grid prev and next buttons. Yes the header position of the grid is immediate. It does seem to act quite immediately.

I did have luck using the Grid Settings module
So I just took the Grid Settings module and used quantize button to feed the prev and next and placed them in the top header. I disabled the section quantize and it seemed to do quite alright.
In my case they jumped their sections completely in sync where specified.

You could probably just do the same thing for goto section and quantize it.

In Usine Hollyhock 2.0.067d, I right-click on the grid section to bring up settings, but there is no "repeat" x times when I change loop mode to "next section". This is shown on page 84 of the manual. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.

I hope it is okay to post this here in this thread....this is my first post.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.
