what is it I am missing about the sort button on the sampler list

on the sampler list window it doesn't seem to do anything. How do I move a file around?

there needs to be something to move these files up and down in my opinion in the list

Okay almost done with this project. I am putting A B C in front of my file names and clicking sort in the sampler window. If there is a better way to do this let me know.
