new addons in my repository
hello everyone
so, in my hollyhock library repository https://github.com/drakh/hollyhock-library are some new addons.
under "sequencers" folder there are two new sequencers
polyrytmus and circleseq
polyrytmus is sequencer based on rules in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOWaD8Abq90
circleseq is circular sequencer - to fill the circle is used euclidean generator. the "bpc" knob means beats (one beat is 1/4 note) per cycle. if is set for example to 7 that means the length of whole circle will take 7 1/4 notes.
enjoy.
P.S. I decided not to use sensomusics page for "upload addon" as doing update of some module is pain in the ass, and via github it is much more simple to manage changes uploads, etc...Hovewer i'll keep posting here in forums announecements about new (probably interesting) patches.

i really like circleseq, very interesting concept!

if you want to download the files, it ise better to install some GIT client , for example tortoiseGIT and downloading/syncing with actual repository would be much more simple. https://tortoisegit.org/
call me dense, but I can't understand how tortoisegit actually makes the downloading easier.
I've never used github so slightly confused. I will look into though.

The easiest way is to use the download zip button .

basicaly there are two ways how to download from Github, one is like nay-seven mentioned clicking the "download zip" button on the repository page.sephult wrote:call me dense, but I can't understand how tortoisegit actually makes the downloading easier.

But, when you have GIT client installed ( https://git-scm.com/downloads ) and on top of that TortoiseGIT it is easier to sync the files, as the client smoothly integrates into your system.
When you hit the "clone in the desktop" on windows your browser asks you what program to use to open the url - just choose tortoiseGIT and then it will automaticaly clone the repository to your local drive. And when you have your local copy of that repository it is easy to sync your content with actual content in the GIT repository - just right click on the folder of your local copy, and you will see in the explorer context menu "tortoise git/fetch or pull" and it downloads automatically latest version. so you don't need to go to github page using your browser (and downloading the zip, and then rewriting the old content) the GIT client manages everything in a place, and makes it easy to revert to previous version if you will not like actual updates or so.
Thanks for the explanation drakh, I've used source code control before...but generally have not been the one to set it up.
I appreciate and will get setup so I can sync your changes, very cool patches....thanks.

so, just commited heavy update on circleseq to repository.
here is a screenshot

new features:
- rotate track after configured steps by "n" steps
- clear track
- pattern shown as polygon as previous version vas really CPU heavy by computing the points positions and now you can tweak the maximum number of steps in the track (not just 32), but you must edit it by yourself in the patch
njoy
