Hi,
I'd like to synchronize Usine Hollyhock II with Nodal through a virtual midi cable (loopBe30). Nodal should work as an external midi slave device and send midi notes to Usine and Usine as a midi master device (i.e., generate audio and let me start Nodal when pushing Usine's play button). How can I do it? I couldn't find any advice in the manual. Is there any possibility to measure and compensate latency?
Mainly I want to do what described in this video but with Usine instead of Live.
Best Regards
Fabio
Configuration of Usine Hollyhock II as midi master device
hi,
It's almost the same than with Live.
just select the proper MIDI in/out devices in the setup/MIDI.
then in the devices panel right click on the MIDI out device (called "Nodal input") and activate 'send MIDI clock' to send time clock to nodal.
To get Midi from nodal proceed as a normal MIDI in device.
