Hi there,

big problem while working hard on Usine.

It just doesn't load anymore at all : when I launch it, it stucks at "loading done" and nothing more happens.

I was on 2.0 082, so I downloaded 2.0 084a, imported previous settings so as to not lose them... and the same happens with the new version. I can't open anything anymore.

I'm on mac 10.8.5.

Last thing I've done was to change the bloc size (from 256 to 16) cause I had to test the effect on my patch (the 5ms bloc duration couldn't fit what I was doing, so I wanted to try different settings to evaluate their effect on my patches).

Since, Usine is dead..

I had that before as well... Also changed the bloc size to 16, which is probably too small anyways...

(On OSX 10.10.4)

I didn't find any other solution than to re-download and reinstall Usine again...
Problem with that is that you will loose all configs and settings...

(When you import your settings, you will still have the 16 block size saved with them...)

So maybe someone else has another idea how to handle that?

Best,
tL.

"don't try this at home".

bloc size 16 doesn't seem to work for me.

To re-use my previous version and some of its settings (plug-ins mostly), I copied the Default-settings.ini from a new version in the old one, by setting it at a larger bloc size.

I lost all my folders and devices settings though.

Good news, you don't need to loose your settings
The Default-settings.ini can be edited with a Text editor like TextEdit on Mac

Once opened, look for the line
INDEXusine block size=4
Change the value 4 for 0 (256), or 1 (128)

Save it and reload Usine
