Hello,
after a few years from the first and the second test, I'd like to give Usine another spin.

I'm just at the beginning of replicating my usual routing scenario and need to check about the following informations, your help will help me to speed through the learning curve.
I'm sure these are not difficult questions to answer, at least I hope.

Question #1
I have three separate analog inputs coming in from different channels of my audio card.
I need each one's volume to be controlled via an input fader.
One of them needs to have a specific vst.
Each one of them can go to the same output, which has to be available as an input source to next racks.
Which is the best solution ?

Question #2
How do I set these sources to the main outputs and as a "send" to feed racks ?
I need to control each volume separately ( i.e.: source to main output, source to rack "a", rack "b" etcetera

Question #3
How do a create an "aux" send ?
I need all these sources and the racks outputs to feed a vst for looping.

Thank you for your help, it looks like Usine has grown a lot and I really hope to create my audio environment in it.

My best,
Luca

There is a long time that i'm trying to manage routing with Hollyhock. I find a sort of solution with buses. It is not perfect and i had to work more on it.

Routing Patch

I hope it can help you.

#1
open devices panel - then drag and drop your desired input to rack input, (each input can be in many racks)
if you need a vst to process the signal, just drop it into you rack

#2 each rack outputs to main output.each rack has its own volume control

#3 the same like your inputs, but, instead of input devices you drang and drop whole rack to input of your "aux" rack

if you want to remove rack/input device from input of the rack, just drag and drop it from the input of the rack to the "trash bin" icon
