Hello,
Since I cannot use Hollyhock as a VST in my DAW’s I am considering using it as a stand-alone virtual instrument and midi controller as I already have 23” multitouch screen. So I hope that HH has a midi and audio out which will be routed to my DAW be it Cubase, Sonar, Reaper or FL Studio.
I know very little about HH but the modular environment which can host the 400 built-in modules, 350 addons, Ultra flexible library with 100 ready to use audio FX and generators, the Creative extended library and VST fx and VSTi looks very inviting.
Does Hollyhock have midi and audio output?
If I understand your whole question correctly, the answer is Yes and No...
Yes, HH2 has audio & MIDI output.
No, HH2 will not natively allow you to take your audio & MIDI output & route it to another DAW.
To route MIDI from HH2 to another DAW is easy with a product such as LoopBe.
To route audio from HH2 to another DAW would require Rewire support or similar, but HH2 does not yet support Rewire.
However, there are other threads on the forum here where folks explore alternatives to Rewire, such as VSTforx & Regen:

Nothing is impossible, you just might need to find the right tools to get it done!

Address the process rather than the outcome. Then, the outcome becomes more likely. - Fripp
Wow!
shawnb thanks for the quick reply.
Ok the midi part is an easy one. Just use LoopBe1 or LoopMidi.
I wonder if asio4all can be used to route the audio from HH2 to a DAW.
Might this work?
5 Free Virtual Audio Cable Software

and more on Google: audio output input virtual cable windows

This is something I will not do right now but am very interested to know if possible.
Thanks to let me know that it is possible!
Getting closer to pulling the trigger on HH2!
But if HH2 besides being a stand-alone it was also a VST or VSTi I would already purchased it.

Yes, those are along the lines of what you're looking for!
I've heard good things about Jack.
I've never used any of these tools myself, so I can't vouch for them personally.

ReaStream (free ReaPlugs) has worked for me.

Don't forget the hardware solution, a good sound-card with several inputs/outputs is also a good solution.
