implemented,
within a single bus but multi wires in the next major release.

ahhhh, this might help with the variable numbers of outputs with different vsts, as I mentioned in my vst module dll loading request?
The vst module could have a single (stereo or not?) audio in and out, and the user could mult/de-mult them as needed to get access to the extra pins without risking orphaning cables?

A couple of ideas about the buses and wires:
1. Can the new multi-wire bus contain wires going in both directions ? If would be great it it could since often you want feedback or 2-way communication.
2. The way of treating everything as signals on the wires is very useful for lots of things. But it would be useful to have a new type of "message" wire that is single-shot and is not mixed up with the "has changed" stuff. The message would sit on the wire for 1 bloc, like what we do manually when sending midi and have to clear the array after a bloc to stop repeat messages. The new message wire would have no problem if the same message is sent again - where "has changed" can get in the way, but it would still be picked up in the parameter callback so onProcess would not have to poll, which is wasteful of CPU.
The midi bus could even be changed to work this way so we would no longer have to clear the midi parameter after a bloc, but just send a midi "message".
Simon.

Is the
"a single bus but multi wires in the next major release."
in HH3 ? I cannot find any reference to it in the User Interface or the manual.

You are right, I do not see any reference for the modules description in the manual, however on my OS (Windows 7) When I drop a get or set audio bus into a patch window there is a menu to choose number of audio channels. Do you not see this?
the module page say "Sends multi-channel AUDIO flows to an internal Bus." what description do you need more ?

OK, thanks for putting me on the right track.
Somehow I missed that it was only for audio signals. Anyway will be very useful for sending stereo signals around.

It's really ok but I have made something wrong:gurulogic wrote:Often I would find it very useful if I could send multiple channels of audio down a single wire or bus. Maybe possible some time?
If the first time has result fine working with the Usine video lessons now I have not the good thing:
Shift and drop on module out _Sampler-out1 -shift/drop- Audio output I _
I think that I have changed something in the configuration.
In the path config or in general config.
I restart Usine, open a new empty workspace. New sample player- new loop inside.
Same result: no multiwire.
I have tried some combinations:
Hold the shift button before hold and drag with the mouse. Unhold (¿?my english...) the shift button before unhold the mouse...all this with all combinations, permutations, I sing an old Indian song while the process....nothing
I am on Usine 3.0.1.134----W7 64 bit i7 4770 3.40GHz---Focusrite Scarlett 6i6---Quneo and Akai MPK240(Akai disabled)
Sorry for my limited English
Thank you for all your help.
And thanks Usine for its impeccable and imprescindible work
it's [ctrl+shift] + drop not [shift]
