Hello, loving H3!
I have upgraded to H3 and i am loving the improvements. However, I have been getting audio pops and clicks. This is even when I have the audio buffers and Usine block size set to higher values. This is still happening when I have only one rack and very few patches running.
Is anyone else having the same problem? This never happened with the previous version.

what kind of CPU do you have and what latency in which mode is chosen? I hear that HH3 reworked GUI to vector drawn in order for scaling to work properly, so it's more resource intensive, but at the same time it seems like it's only using CPU or integrated GPU at this time, so it's easier to run into performance issues. I don't know if it supposed to utilize discrete GPU for rendering, but on my laptop it does not. well it's still not nearly as bad as you say.

Hi x.iso, thanks for your response.

I am running 2GHz Intel Core i7 mac book pro with OS X 10.8.5. I have 16 GB of RAM.
I have had the buffer all the way up to 1024 and still get the same issues.

well, on Windows with regular DirectSound drivers 1024 buffer size would often be not enough to overcome the pops and clicks in my experience (but that can be lowered down significantly even with ASIO4ALL drivers), however currently I have exactly 1024 set in HH3 (on 64bit Windows, 32-bit version of HH3) and it doesn't have any issues with sound at average load (13 VST instruments and a bunch of modules and addon-on patched together), with just 44-50% CPU consumption, but interface starts to lag at that point (probably due to amount of UI modules in use).

That's impressive that you can run that number of vst plugins. I do not have any problems with my older version of HH.
I play live guitar through HH so I need a low buffer setting to reduce latency. I am feeling disappointed at this stage as I love the functionality of HH which suites my work. I had a recording session last night and struggled with HH 3 and had to resort to the older version.
Is there anything I might be able to do in order to elevate the problem?

Windows user here, experiencing much better audio performance myself in HH3 so not sure how much help i can be but pergaps try changing the total number of threads setting or hiding the UI and seeing if the problem persists?
