I've just started using Usine so I'm probably missing something, but when I add a patch to the rack nothing is visible. I have to open the patch in the editor, click on the module/subpatch which opens the control panel in the editor, select the control panel and then change the "where" setting from "invisible" to "control panel". This will add the patch controls to the rack, but there's a large gap in the Patch window, and I have to "force reorganize" to get things to fit (this doesn't always work). Is there a way to make the "control panel" location option the default setting?

Watching the tutorials, it appears that adding modules and patches from the Library browser is just a drag-and-drop operation, but that's not what I'm seeing. I've tried reinstalling it and that didn't help things.

I'm on version 3.0.153 on MacOS High Sierra. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

ok, very strange, you're the second who have this issue, the problem is i can't reproduce it here on last High Sierra version.

Btw, for info High Sierra is not officially supported yet.
(but here, on an old 2012 Mac Mini, all works fine.)

a precision: you talk about patches from the browser/library tab or from the modules tab ?

The patches under the Library tab won't load the Control Panel into the rack.

I've tried two Mac laptops, both running OSX 10.13.2, and they behave the same.
Let me know if I can provide any more info. Thanks.

I just discovered that dragging the patches into the Workspace/background creates a new rack and they display normally. I just can't add them to an existing rack.

ok, thanks for the precision,
Can you please test what's happen if you drag a sample first ( to create a sampler), then an FX patch ?
Test on an existing empty rack , then on an empty space

The sample and player load fine in both tests, but the FX patch just creates a small, empty patch window and I have to edit the control panel "where" setting to make it display in the rack.
