joffoguitarrack.wkp by joffo78
Hi all, especially to joffo78. Today I found a very interesting add-on for Usine v5 made by joffo78 and it is exactly what I was looking for. It works very nice but it has a problem for me: all the effects are placed in different separated tracks.
I wonder if there's a way to place all the effects (stomps) in a single track and patch and make it work as the original workspace. I've been trying to understand all the logics of the entire add on and trying to make the idea work in a single patch-track with no satisfactory results, the bus assigments do not work correctly and I don't get any audio signal at the output stage of the chain.
Unfotunately I don't have the level of knowlege to discover how and deal with the issue. I haven't been able to use the uploader either to upload the mentioned workspace, I apologize for my clumsiness.
Any help on this matter will be gratly appreciated.

Finally I could upload joffo78's add-on. Here it is

you can simply open each patch, copy the sub-patch, and paste it in a new one to create your version ?
Of course, you need to copy the 2 sub-patches each time, cause the buses are in the smaller one.
i don't have test, but try this patch

mm, can't work this way cause his additional inputs are based on track number...
Joffo ? we need you
Joffo ? we need you
That is exactly the problem, the additional track number inputs. I've been doing some experimentation by adding additional outputs to every and each stomp and assign them to the mentioned additional inputs but nothing seems to work. We definitely need Joffo's help.
on my side, main problem is time and also i'm on Mac and have a PC with VMware and it's not easy with asio4all to have sound and to test
here a new try :

OK Your patch and everything I've tried did not work. It happens the same in all cases. all the stomps receive signal but only through bus1, there's no change in buses when you move the boxes. The issue has to do with the track based desing of the add-on. We defenitely need Joffo's help.
Hii. It's a very old addon. I don't remember at all. I'll try to see
Oh shit. It's for usine V5 ? are you interested by a hollyhock version ? I my opinion it'll be simpler
Not sure but you can try this : joffo guitar rack one track
As nay i use an emulated windows without asio

Thanks Nayseven and Joffo for your effort. Joffo's patch did work perfectly, the issue was at the input busses for the stomps. I came with my own version adding another stomp instance to make them six (6)) to fit my pedal controller. Nice add-on, I learned new things from it.
Now I want to be more ambitious, I want to be able to load subpatches (stomps based on 3rd party vsts) into the main patch, I believe this can be achieved via IML but unfortunately I don't know how to do it, I'm not into scripting at all, maybe I should learn some PASCAL.
The actual patch requires to have several vsts loaded and this consumes to much RAM and in a way makes both USINE and system slower. Being able to load only the desired plugins has a significant impact on RAM usage. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
Finally the reason I'm still using USINE v5 and not HH is because the latter has changed a lot from v5 and I'm still not use to, and besides that I do have too many patches and workspaces built on v5 an adapting them to HH is really a very hard work.
Thank you very much again. This is a great forum with great people.
