Hello all,
I am getting crazy with a patch generating SYSEX and sending it to my MIDI interface

The test patch :
Button -> SYSEX Edit (send input)
SYSEX Edit (out) -> MIDI Out module (sysex input)

The SYSEX message is very simple for the test : $F0 $0A $20 $F7

If I look to the pink wire between SYSEX Edit and MIDI Out module, I see this on the trace output each time I click on the button :
122:[4]240 10 32 247
123:[0]

so I conclude that the SYSEX is generated correctly by the patch

On the MIDI Device window, I have connected the 'MIDI From Usine" to "To MIDI device" with two wires : one on midi1 and one on sysex between the two modules

Last thing : I see the blue bargraph going on each time I click on the button, so there is MIDI data going out from the patch

BUT... absolutely nothing goes out of my MIDI interface !!!

Does anybody have an idea of what can explain this behaviour ?

Thanks

Benoit

Sometimes hardware have an edit mode to receive sys ex ?
and check also if there's a specific MIDI channel ?
you can also activate the MIDI out in the trace panel to be sure it's your message which is sent

Hi NaySeven,
thank you for the quick reply. I have tested with two different MIDI interface : same result. I still use HH2, but I don't think it can explain this.
I made a test with M-Audio USB Uno and rtpMIDI driver : same result
By the way, I just saw something weird when I checked the output of the MIDI module (the "MIDI From Usine" connected to "To MIDI device") : on the inspector, I see "[0]" in red when I look to the SYSEX connection between the two modules
