Hi. Here are some improvment which would improve a lot my usine workflow:
- Drag a patch as a rack on another rack : Actually it's possible to send a patch in another patch which is very usefull.
But for example if i have a rack with a stéréo sampler that output on another patch that mix in multichannel, i 'd like to send only the stéréo signal on another rack (to make a send fx for example)
Another method could be possible: as we can choose if the rack are processed in serial or parallel. we could have this settinh on each patch to have for example one sampler output to several mixer in parallel on the same rack. Actually i use a work around that consist create to separated racks (one for the sampler and another in parallel for the mixers).
- an improvement on the grid would be very cool :
possibility to set a global fade time on one section. For example i have 6 rack playing differents sounds, it's a little tedious to set one fade time on each on (even is usefull
sometime).
- the same improvement could be added on the master volume or dimmer (on master by section).
I hop my english isn't to hugly.
Thank you.
JF

Hi JF,

Did you try to use Add Audio Output?
In a patch, you can send audio signal via Audio Output, the signal goes to next patch or device rack output.
If you choose Add Audio Output, you can create an additional output on the rack, decide to send it to another device. You can make an output device with audio buses to send it to another rack. Possibly tricky ;-)
The good solution is to use audio bus with a volume drive by the outlet "gain out" of the rack setting module if you want to be post fader. You have also the fade gain out if you have fade in and out on the grid.
In all situations you will have one block size latency, so not sure another option would be necessarily. Or just if Add Out could be put in a rack input separately.

All the best

Sylvain
