sound from a video

Basic request : I'd like to hear the original sound from a video file when I play the video.
And I don't see any audio outlet from the video player.
My solution is now to extract the sound, add an audio sampler and synchronize the sound and video. Hum... Tortuous...

You're right.
But keep in mind that audio and video are two different process, and Usine's goal is not to replace VLC or QuickTime but manipulate videos and sounds.
Maybe you can post a suggestion.
