Hi everybody, I am using usine/hollyhock for many years now and I would like to share my annoying recurrent experience with the interface builder (IB). Items that are activated are "shown in the IB" - that works nicely if you have a small number of patches - however, if you want to handle many items simultaneously the windows appear randomly on unexpected positions and overlay other active patches (always, always, always - I try to rearrange (saved the workspace) and it happens again and again - really annoying)!
So, please if there is a way to allocate the next free space to the next freshly activated item (TETRIS-style!) it would be absolutely fantastic! Or if this is not possible, it would help to arrange that the activated patch appears at a fixed/expected position where it could be found easily.
Perhaps there is a little trick to manage that???
Thanx,
Gerd from Austria

OK- ? - there is big silence
! - so it seems that it is not a common problem!!!
Normally the patches should appear always at the same positions. if not, it's more a bug and send the wkp to the support.
Maybeyou can assign manually the left & right position with a constant ?
There is no easy solution the automatic "tetris" placement, its an hard algorithm.
