We probably arrive at the end of the beta test phase and now Usine seems to be stable.
Thanks for all your feedbacks!

After long discussions with some early Usine fan's, I will probably increase the price of the license to 90€ but don't panic, the update will stay at the same price.

Of course as usual, money must not be a fundamental problem, if you can't afford to pay the license can be free for you, on a simple request . (I use to be a young musician too - a long time ago...)

no, when you pay for a license (new or upgrade) you have 1 year of free download, for any new version.

Totally agree with that, as usine and user community is growing, it involve a lot more work from sensomusic.

Another side is that at low price (50€) some people surely said "it's to cheap to be serious". Usine is nearly 3 years old now, you can consider that early usiners like us are people not stopped by this kind of questions (and if update stay low, it's even better).

You have now to convinces potentials septics, and for that, lots of things have to be made and they are not cheap (communication, more people in the staff, keeping the quality of the support...).

More than that, i assume you have to make some music sometime :-)

Anyway, keep up the good work man, usine is so good.

PS : don't forget to communicate about the new price before the change, as it will surely decide some people.

Hello Olivier,
Nothing shocking!
I imagine you've put in the balance the time spent, the risks of piracy, the spirit of your whole project.
You should also consider that when a project grows, the risk of loosing the control also grows... depends on your goal ;)
