disable audio out meters

I have several tracks where I don't need the Audio out meters to be active. (I mean the yellow Audio vu meters appearing automatically at the bottom with Audio out modules).

Can I disable them somehow to save CPU?

don't think it's possible right now , but could be a suggestion...( if it really save cpu...)

On my old lappy, even the smallest CPU save is worth something and I assume updating elements (ie VU meters) take some CPU so I'll put it in suggestion forum.
