Hello Dear Usine users !

I just got this Usb foot control interface
http://www.eowave.com/controllers.php?prod=53

With this footswitch
http://www.eowave.com/controllers.php?prod=53

I'd like to control the "rec" button of the "live echoplex" in Usine
in "toggle mode" (I press once "rec" is on, I press twice "rec" is of)

But unfortunatly, when I use the "midi learn" fonction,
The midi learn is effective,
but the "remote mode toggle" doesn't works !
nothing happen when I press my footswitch

I can use "remote mode absolute" or "remote mode relative"
but the only event I can see is the red "rec" button becoming "off"
If I press twice It doesn't go "on" (red again)

some more info
-------------------------

- the midi in indicator close to the CPU indicator works when I press my footswitch
- the dashboard info pannel show this midi message when I press my footswitch "In (....) 192-00-PC [chan=1]
- It works in ableton live light in with "relative (2's comp) " with a midi learn

thanks a lot for giving me a direction to solve this problem

Cheers

In another way :

Does a "substain pedal" send a "program change" midi data
and a "ON/OFF pedal" send a "note" midi data ?

nice you found a solution.

about midi learns: dont forget in usine u can also 'hardwire midi learns'. this means you have access to the 'record' button via the remote learn panel OR via the interface modules.
so you can always remap incoming midi controller messages to do exactly what you want!

don't thinks so...

and a midi note on/off can easily control the rec of the echoplex patch

btw , this module are quite expensive , an old joystick with a little of work can also do the job...;-)
