i'm working with 3 controllers ,all going throw usb,but ,even if they 're plugged to the same port of my computer, usine doesn't recognize it,(one time my bcr is usb one,one time it's usb 2)and so i have to re attribute the good port in my set up nearly each time i open usine, even if my set up is saved...come from windows?

same here,

even if global setup verification is one my checklist before any use.
it would be nice if those midi in/midi out entries don't change anytime.

hope it's not a windows limitation.

I like the way bidule deals with this. I have a midi input object from bidule for each controller, and they all are wired into my patchbay. The ones that are not plugged in show up in red, but bidule just ignores them. Then I never have to make an adjustment when I switch from one controller to another.

I don't know, could you do something like this with midi-ox?? Since midi-ox is always 'plugged in', usine always recognizes it.
Either way, it would be nice for usine to 'remember' a device that is not currently plugged in.

I, too, would dearly love this to work in Usine!

especially as, if you accidentally open a workspace that's routed to a device (audio or midi) that you didn't turn on the program "forgets" it, you have to turn it off, turn on the hardware, then restart Usine and then re-configure it all over again

of course I have also the same problem but it more a windows issue than an usine trouble.
I tried to solve the pb without success for the moment, but be patient I'll find.
