Hi guys!
I have seen a USB module, under the "interface control" menu....but i didn't find anything on the wiki nor in the forum (maybe it's just my fault!) - i tried it with a joystick and i realized it outputs the position of a control with no reference to the control itself (for example moving the stick full forward or full right gives a 256 at the output pin) - what am i missing?

ciao,

Goyya :)

yes , never go forward , but senso tell me an other day that you choose the virtual number of your usb device ( UID ) and the module receive data from this one...
no more explaination ..;-)

the usb module is actually only a prototype, used for test purpose.
it's more to see incomming data's from UID. (User Interface Device)
I'll try to give more explanation as soon as possible but data's form depends on the device itself and I can't help you to decode your joystick.

Thanks a lot guys for your answer....

Anyway i'm getting away with the idea of using a joystick: some button combinations aren't possible....buttons have pins in common (for example, button 1 and button 2 are linked to three pin on the joystick board - obviously one pin is common): when i keep them pressed at the same time, the electronics gets confused and does not know which button is being pressed....sounds like the electronics is designed for momentary buttons only, and this conflicts for the fact that i bought SWITCHES (vs BUTTONS) to build a guitar pedalboard (silly me)....

I could move the above observations to another thread, they could be useful fot other people...

thanks and ciao,

Goyya :)
