Usine Launcher

The launcher is a small utility software which can be used in autonomous installations (kiosk). The purpose of this application is to be sure that Usine is always running properly. It launches Usine and verifies that the audio engine, the process messages queue are always functioning and the CPU load, memory load are a in acceptable range. It tracks also errors to ensure that Usine is not entering in an endless loop of errors.

If something become suspicious, the launcher restarts the computer automatically.

Protection

engine protect

Verifies that the audio processing and the messages queue are running. If not, it reboots the computer.

cpu protect

Verifies that the CPU load of Usine is always under a limite. If not, it reboots the computer.

mem protect

Verifies that the memory consumption of Usine is always under a limite. If not, it reboots the computer.

errors protect

Verifies that Usine is not entering in an endless loop of errors. The limit is more than 1 error per second. It case of repeated errors it reboots the computer.

auto reboot

Reboots automatically the computer at a fixed hour.
